Returns & Refunds Policy – Gas On The Run

Gas On The Run aims for 100% customer satisfaction. This policy explains your rights and our procedures for returns, refunds, repairs, and exchanges. It aligns with South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act and ECTA.
2. Summary of Your Rights

If a product is defective, unsafe, or not as described, you may request a repair, replacement, or refund.

Consumers can return goods within a reasonable time (commonly up to six months for defects).

Online purchases may be canceled within 7 days after delivery under the ECTA, usually with the consumer covering return shipping.

Goods purchased for a specific purpose that they fail to meet may be returned within 10 business days.
3. When We Accept Returns
A. Defective, unsafe, or incorrect goods – Report defects promptly. We will repair, replace, or refund and cover reasonable return/collection costs.
B. Online orders – change of mind – Cancel within 7 days of delivery. Goods must be unused, undamaged, and in original packaging. Return shipping is usually covered by the customer.
C. Goods not meeting a specified purpose – Return within 10 business days if they fail the agreed purpose. We cover reasonable collection costs.
4. Non-Returnable Items

Gas cylinders that have been used or refilled (unless defective)

Custom-made or special-order items (unless defective)

Products with missing parts, opened packaging, or signs of use

Perishables or final-sale/clearance items
5. Requesting a Return / Reporting a Defect

Contact us first at Bradley.gasontherun@gmail.com or 011 818 3009 to obtain an RMA/reference number. Include your order number, date, and photos if applicable.

Follow return or shipping instructions provided. Do not return items without an RMA.

Pack securely for transit. Return postage is usually your responsibility for change-of-mind returns; we cover shipping for defective or incorrect items.
6. Condition of Returned Goods

Items must be clean, unused, and in saleable condition with original labels, accessories, and packaging.

Refunds may be reduced for damaged or incomplete returns; a restocking fee may apply.

Refunds are processed to the original payment method unless requested otherwise.

We aim to process refunds within 15 business days of accepting a return or cancellation.

For defective items where we repair or replace, we will provide timelines and updates.
8. Exchanges & Repairs

Faulty items are replaced where possible; otherwise, repaired or refunded in line with your statutory rights.

9. Shipping Costs & Responsibilities

Collections of orders are free at our premises; no shipping fees apply.

Defective or incorrect goods: We will replace items at no additional cost; customers may need to return items for inspection.

Change-of-mind returns: Customers are responsible for shipping or collection.

Items left uncollected beyond the specified period are not the responsibility of Gas On The Run.
10. Fault Investigations & Evidence
